Bridgepoint Protein Spotter 946ml is a professional-grade, water-based alkaline stain remover specifically formulated to target tough protein-based spots on carpets and upholstery. It is available online via Carpet Cleaners Warehouse.
• Target Stains: Formulated to break down proteins in blood, vomit, eggs, milk, chocolate, baby formula, ice cream, cream, cheese sauce, pudding, and baby food. It is also highly effective on general water-based stains.
• Chemical Profile: Ready-to-use (RTU) formula with an alkaline pH level of 10.5.
• Fibre Caution: Due to its high alkalinity (pH 10.5), it is primarily safe for synthetic carpets. You should always check the label or test a small, hidden area before use on wool or natural fibres to prevent browning or dye damage.
• Important Application Tip: As an alkaline spotter, it requires proper extraction and neutralisation after use. Leaving residue in the carpet pile can attract soil and cause the spot to quickly "wick back" or resoil.
