Methylated spirits contains mostly pure ethanol, but with additives to make it undrinkable. However, there are so many other uses for this liquid that we can't list them all here! For example, use it in a spirit stove, to light your fish smoker, or just for cleaning around the boat or caravan. It is excellent for removing oily residues.
